Terms of Service

Halbeeg is software you use in a web browser to record sales, stock, customers and credit, purchases, expenses, branches and staff, and to see reports about them.

Halbeeg needs an internet connection. We do not promise that the service will always be available or free of errors, and we may improve or change features over time.

Each account belongs to one person, signed in with their own email address. Keep your password, codes and passkeys private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

The business owner is responsible for the people they invite and the roles they give them. Each business has exactly one owner, who can transfer ownership to another member.

The information you give about your business must be true and kept up to date.

Before a business can use Halbeeg, we review it. You send an ID (passport, driving licence or national ID) and your business licence or certificate.

We may approve the business, ask for changes, or refuse it. Changing the legal name, licence number or owner later sends the business back for review; it keeps working while we check.

An approved business gets a free trial of 14 days. No card is needed for the trial.

After the trial, Halbeeg is paid monthly or yearly at the price shown on our pricing page, in US dollars. You pay by mobile money to the accounts shown on the pay page; wallets in other currencies send the equivalent. We check each payment by hand and email a receipt. Where card payments are offered, they renew automatically until you turn renewal off.

Paying adds a month or a year from the end of your current paid time, or from today if it has ended. Paying during the trial ends the trial and starts the paid time at once.

If the plan ends without payment, you have 7 days of grace in which the shop works normally. After that the shop becomes read-only: sales and changes stop, but you can still read your reports and lists. Nothing is deleted because a plan ended, and paying turns everything back on.

The records you enter belong to your business. We use them only to provide Halbeeg to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Sales are never deleted: voids and returns are recorded alongside them. Changes to records are written to an activity log that cannot be edited.

Do not use Halbeeg for anything unlawful, to record goods you are not allowed to sell, to try to reach another business's data, or to disrupt the service.

We may suspend a business that breaks these terms, gives false information, or puts other users at risk. A suspended business is told the reason and how to contact us.

You can stop using Halbeeg at any time by not renewing your plan. If you want your business's account closed or its data removed, contact us.
